Ingredients:

 

  • 2 sheets puff pastry 
  • Eggplant caviar (Baba Ghanouj) Jana Mezze 
  • Zaatar Jana Mezze 
  • Olive oil  

 

Preparation:

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Roll out one sheet of puff pastry and spread the eggplant caviar evenly over it, leaving a small border around the edges. 
  3. Place the second sheet on top and press the edges to seal. 
  4. Cut into strips, then twist each strip to create the “sun” shape. 
  5. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with zaatar. 
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden and crisp. 
  7. Serve warm.
