Ingredients:
- 2 pita breads
- 300g beef or lamb filet/sirloin, cut into thin strips
- 1 to 2 tsp Jana Mezze Kebab Spice
- ½ red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- ½ red onion, finely sliced
- A few crunchy lettuce leaves
- 1 small tomato, sliced
- 2 tbsp plain yogurt, Jana Mezze Tahini Sauce, or Jana Mezze Garlic Cream
- A drizzle of olive oil
- A pinch of salt
Preparation:
- Sauté the meat strips in a hot pan with a drizzle of olive oil.
- Sprinkle Jana Mezze Kebab Spice over the hot meat and toss quickly to coat evenly.
- Warm the pita breads for 1–2 mins in a pan or in the oven.
- Fill each pita with lettuce, tomato, red bell pepper, red onion, and the golden grilled meat.
- Add a spoonful of plain yogurt, tahini sauce, or garlic cream for extra indulgence.
- Finish with a final sprinkle of Jana Mezze Kebab Spice before folding the pita.
- Serve hot
